Temporary Lands & Registration Administrator
Under the direction of the Lands Manager, the Temporary Lands & Registration Administrator support the administration needs of the Katzie First Nation (KFN) Lands Department. Assisting in areas related to land use plans, land surveys and informs band members in liaising with Indigenous Services Canada about wills and estates this is a varied role.
Summer Employment Placement
The SEP workers are to support the Katzie Kids Summer Activity Program. By supporting planned summer related activities, helping the Youth Centre team, working with kids who might need a little extra help, ensuring that the gym, equipment is cleaned daily, and duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the Youth Centre workers.
Education Program Supervisor
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure K-12 and post-secondary students are provided support and guidance as they navigate their educational pursuits. Reporting directly to the Manager of Human and Social Services, the Education Program Supervisor (EPS) drives the daily operations of the Katzie First Nation Education Program, which includes providing supervision and direction to the Education Program Assistant.
Health Director
Katzie First Nations seeks a strong leader in our search for a Health Director. Participating as a member of Katzie First Nation’s senior management team and reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, the Health Director is also accountable to the Chief and Council and Katzie First Nation members.
This role delivers innovative, high-quality health and wellness services while being responsible for the strategic planning, development, and overall leadership of the Katzie First Nation’s Department of Health. This multifaceted service area provides residential, in-community, and in-home support and one-on-one or group coaching, servicing the Katzie First Nation community and neighbouring communities in primary healthcare, home and community care, maternal/child health, health promotion, child and family services, mental health and wellness, family development, addictions, counselling and traditional medicines.
Planner
Katzie First Nation’s Lands and Civil Service Team is in search of a Planner. Reporting to the Lands Manager, the Planner will apply their knowledge of community and regional planning to forge the future of the Nation’s land development.
Interim Maintenance Team Lead
Katzie’s Public Works team is expanding as we are looking to temporarily add a Team Lead to the group.
The Katzie First Nation Public Works position works closely in the community to complete repairs to housing and yard maintenance as required for the community. The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the Public Works team executes work set out by the Maintenance Operations Supervisor. In addition to completion of maintenance tasks and supervision, this role is also responsible for ensuring that work is performed in a safe manner
Junior Public Works Maintenance
Katzie’s Maintenance Team is searching for a motivated Junior Public Works Maintenance worker that is eager to learn and grow into the role.
Reporting to and mentored by senior Public Works Maintenance employees, this role works closely with the community to provide direct maintenance support to all Katzie IR#1, 2 & 3.
General Manager
Calling all leaders! Katzie First Nation is looking to add a General Manager to the leadership team.
This role will directly support the CAO in ensuring all areas of the Nation’s Government runs smoothly. The General Manager drives the effective day-to-day operations of KFN, includes responsibility for elements of budgeting, internal policy and procedure review and creation, strategic planning, and goal setting.
This role reports directly to the CAO while working collaboratively with all senior management to drive growth and success in all aspects of Katzie First Nation.
Building Service Worker and Grounds Caretaker
Katzie’s Maintenance team is expanding as we are looking to add a Building Service Worker and Grounds Caretaker to the group.
This role will work an afternoon/evening shift to accommodate cleaning in areas that are occupied during standard working hours. This varied role can expect to have a standard cleaning regime in addition to seasonal outdoor maintenance and occasional deep cleaning requirements.
Senior Referrals Coordinator
The Katzie First Nation (Katzie) Referrals Department searching for a Senior Referrals Coordinator to join the team and we would love to hear from applicants with a wide range of relevant experience for this role.
This role will support the department in consultation and engagement activities, project tracking, grant writing and reporting. Reporting to the Referrals Manager, this role works collaboratively with another to share the workload.
